The Music Industry has reacted in many ways to try and combat the issue of Online Music Piracy. One thing that they have done is make Gigs more expensive, but while they done that they also have done small free gigs for new and up coming bands to get people more interested in them so that they will buy there music. They also do bonus songs that are only available if you buy there CD, you also get merchandise from the CD's too for example you can get posters and autographed pictures with the CD. Piracy has had a huge effect on the Music Industry causing a national iconic shop to go bust, HMV.
