camera shot type analysis

This shot is feminine as it shows the female in control, even though the male is on top, their facia; expressions show she is more comfortable and in control
The shot is masculine as the male looks dominant as the female is looking up to him, but the composition shows the men in balaclavas are on the females side.

I believe that this shot is masculine as the camera is angled at a low angle and the women looks very dominant,

The shot is a masculine shot although it shows a female holding the gun, the female is being the masculine character and showing dominance.

This shot is a feminine shot as it shows the character being dominated, the character is submissive as he is shot from a high angle making him look inferior

This is a feminine shot as it shows megan fox in all her glory, its seductive and promiscuous, although she is on a motorbike which is very masculine, the cameras main focus is the females body.

This is a very masculine shot as it shows a male being the leader and shows male dominance,  the composition shows a variety of males and females following the one 'alpha' male, his facial expressions show dominance.

This is a feminine shot as its shot form a high angle making the female look submissive, the shot shows the female being scared, the camera has her in the focus but the light in form above making her look underneath another person, the light is also quite soft making it more feminine.

This is a masculine shot as it shows the male being powerful as he is the main focus, the lighting is coming form direct towards his face, the light is quite harsh light making it more masculine.

The video above shows a feminine shot as it is a smooth tracking shot, smooth representing the elegance and femininity, the shot is also high angle which also shows the shot is feminine.

The shot above shows a masculine shot as its rough and reckless movement and being rough is very stereotypically masculine

On this mood board we have 20 images representing the different stereotypes across the tv drama media. We have old, young, gay, straight, disabled, traditional male (gentleman), and traditional female.
To represent youth stereo types, i have a photo of Rudy from MISFITS, he is a garish character who smokes, drinks and his vocabulary is either swearing or sexually orientated, he gets himself into trouble and regularly performs sexual acts with a variety of women, he also suspects he has an STD, Rudy also resembles Social class stereo types, he resembles the lower class, council estates, benefits, and drugs.
To represent old age persons stereo types i have posted three photos, one being Emily from Coronation Street, she is vulnerable and sweet, I have also posted a photo of Grantley form Waterloo Road, he is a stubborn man who blames the youth for everything, he is strict and his opinion is always right, lastly there is a photo of Maggie Smith from Downton Abbey, she is a very well-mannered lady who represents the old fashioned OAP's who are well respected in society, she also resembles social class stereo types, she resembles the high class stereo types, well mannered, wealthy, servants.
To resemble disability stereotypes i have posted a photo of Izzy from Coronation Street, she is physically disabled and in a wheel chair.
The male/ female stereo types are resembles by Phil and Jodie from Eastenders, Phil is a mans man, he is thuggish and gaudy. Jodie is a stereo typical girl, she is vain and is constantly improving her image by getting her nails done and hair done, she is a 'dumb' blonde.
For sexual orientation stereotypes there is photo of two characters in Hollyoaks, they are a gay couple.

Skins trailer camera analysis

Skins Series 3 extended trailer analysis

Skins series 3 extended trailer

The camera is moving erratically, it is out of control, portraying the people its filming as the teenagers are out of control and erratic.
Their is a dramatic contrast between the camera movements between the adults and teenagers, when the camera is on the adults, the camera becomes slow, and steady, when it is on the teens its erratic and distorted.
The camera goes slightly blurred at points to take on the effect of being drunk.
The trailer is reinforcing teenagers, and shows that the teens have the power, it also portrays a negative image upon the teens themsleves.
