Sherlock v moriarty

In the penultimate scene in the swimming pool, moriarty becomes a lot more masculine, he is wearing a suit and confronts Sherlock even though Sherlock has a gun pointed at his face, he antagonises Sherlock by taking the 'mick' out of the situation.
Moriarty is shown as a sociopath which is quite masculine as to be masculine is to have little or show little emotion.
There is a reasonable balance of alpha male power between the two characters in this scene, there is a intense relationship between the two characters.
